When and where is Lighthouse Festival?

Lighthouse Festival takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Norah Head Lighthouse Reserve, Bush Street, Norah Head NSW 2263.

Gates open at 1:00 pm. The festival finishes at 9:30 pm.

Is the festival strictly 18+?

Yes. Lighthouse Festival is a strictly 18+ licensed event. Every attendee must bring valid photo ID. Under-18s cannot attend.

Ziggy Alberts headlines, joined by Winterbourne, Joel Leggett, Elaskia, Jess Minda, Summer Healey and Abbi Yeo.

What are the artist set times?

Individual artist set times for 2026 are to be confirmed. Gates open at 1:00 pm and the festival finishes at 9:30 pm.

Check the festival website and official social channels for updates closer to the event.

Can I leave and come back?

No pass-outs are available. Once you leave the festival site, you cannot re-enter. Bring everything you need for the day.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available online only through official Lighthouse Festival channels. There is no box office on site, so purchase before arriving.

What do I need ready at the gate?
  • Your valid e-ticket barcode.
  • Valid photo ID, such as a current driver licence, passport or government-issued proof-of-age card.
  • Your phone screen brightness turned up for ticket scanning.

Save your ticket before arriving so you can open it without relying on mobile reception. All patrons and bags are subject to search.

How does the four-person Double Date ticket work?

The Double Date ticket covers four general admission entries using one barcode. All four guests must arrive and enter together.

Every guest must be 18 or over and have their own valid photo ID. Do not share the barcode with people outside your group.

Can two people use the same individual ticket?

No. An individual admission ticket can only be used for its valid entry. A copied or previously used barcode will not provide an additional entry.

The four-person Double Date ticket is different: its single barcode admits the four guests together.

I cannot find my ticket. Who should I contact?

Check your inbox and junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, email the festival team with your booking name, purchase email address and order number if available.

Transport & parking.

Are festival buses available?

Yes. There are five return bus routes. Check the route, pickup point and departure time before booking your bus ticket.

Can I drive and park nearby?

General parking around Norah Head is very limited. Allow extra travel time and respect local residents, clearways and parking restrictions.

Follow event traffic instructions. If you plan to drink, arrange a designated driver or alternative transport home.

Where should taxis and rideshares drop off?

Follow traffic control directions to the signed drop-off and pickup area near the main entry. Arrange your trip home before the festival.

Is accessible parking available?

Accessible parking spaces are limited and must be arranged in advance. Display your permit and follow staff directions.

What to bring.

What should I pack?
  • Your ticket and valid photo ID.
  • Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.
  • A hat, sunscreen and a warm layer.
  • An empty reusable water bottle.
  • A rain poncho if needed.
  • A small bag, A4 size or smaller, approximately 30 × 20 cm.
  • Your own food if you wish, within the bag allowance.

Small picnic rugs and low beach chairs are also permitted within the limits below.

Can I bring a chair or picnic rug?

Yes. You can bring a small picnic rug up to 1.5 m × 1.5 m, or a low sling or short beach chair with a seat height of 25 cm or less.

Chairs must be used in the designated chair areas. Tall or standard camping chairs are not permitted. Follow staff directions when choosing your spot.

What items are not permitted?
  • BYO alcohol or illicit drugs.
  • Eskies, picnic baskets, trolleys or carts.
  • Glass containers, glass jars or metal cutlery.
  • Tall or standard camping chairs.
  • Bags or backpacks larger than A4.
  • Umbrellas and shade structures.
  • Fireworks, flares or fire-twirling equipment.
  • Musical instruments or portable sound systems.
  • Pets. Assistance animals are excepted.
  • Drones or professional recording equipment without approval.
  • Weapons, sharp objects or other items deemed dangerous by security.

Outside food is allowed for 2026. Pack it within the permitted bag allowance without prohibited containers or cutlery.

Food & drink.

Can I bring my own food?

Yes. Outside food is welcome at Lighthouse Festival 2026. Food vendors will also be available on site.

Food must fit within the small-bag allowance. Glass, metal cutlery, eskies and picnic baskets are not permitted.

Will there be options for dietary requirements?

Food stalls will offer dietary options, including gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free choices. Check ingredients and food preparation directly with the vendor before ordering.

You are also welcome to bring your own food within the permitted bag and container rules.

Can I bring alcohol?

No. Lighthouse Festival is fully licensed. BYO alcohol is prohibited and will be confiscated.

Festival bars serve beer, cider, wine and soft drinks.

Is drinking water available?

Yes. Free water refill stations are available across the site. Bring a reusable water bottle, which must be empty when you enter.

Can I pay with cash?

No. Food, drink and merchandise outlets are card-only, with contactless payment available. There are no ATMs on site.

Accessibility.

Is the festival accessible?

The site provides wheelchair access, accessible amenities and an accessible viewing area. The reserve includes grass and uneven ground.

Do you accept Companion Cards?

Yes. Companion Card holders can contact the festival team in advance to arrange companion entry.

What if vehicle access is needed for medical reasons?

Speak to the Duty Manager at the gate so a supervised arrangement can be considered. For requirements you know about in advance, contact the festival team before the day.

On the day.

What happens if it rains?

Lighthouse is an outdoor coastal event and proceeds rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.

Prepare for sun, wind and rain. Bring sunscreen, suitable footwear, a warm layer and a rain poncho. Umbrellas are not permitted.

Is First Aid available?

Yes. First Aid operates throughout the day. Security, RSA staff, police and First Aid teams are on site.

If you feel unsafe or unwell, or someone nearby needs help, speak to a staff member immediately.

What behaviour is expected?

Treat other guests, staff and the site with respect. Follow directions from event staff, security and emergency services.

Disrespectful, threatening or unsafe behaviour can result in removal. Intoxicated or disruptive patrons may be refused entry or removed without refund, subject to applicable law.

Is this a drug-free event?

Yes. Lighthouse Festival has a zero-tolerance policy for illicit drugs. Anyone found in possession may be removed and referred to police.

Will photography and filming take place?

Yes. Photography and filming take place at the festival for promotional purposes. The conditions of entry include the event’s photography and filming notice.

Where is lost property?

Visit the Info Desk near the entry gate during the event. For enquiries after the festival, email the team with a description of the item.

Unclaimed items after 30 days are donated or handed to police.
